Delete your LINK account
You can delete your LINK account and everything attached to it at any time. Two ways.
In the app (immediate)
- Open LINK and go to the YOU tab.
- Open Settings (the gear).
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email hello@findyourlink.co.uk from the email address you signed up with, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by reply. We can only act on a request sent from the account's own address, because that is the only way we can tell it is you asking.
What is deleted
Your profile, photos, prompts and answers, interests, society memberships, likes and passes, matches, messages, check-ins, league scores, AI usage counters, Spotify connection, and your login itself.
What is kept, and why
- Reports made about you by other people are kept, without your profile attached, for 12 months, so that a pattern of behaviour cannot be erased by deleting and rejoining. The report records who made it and what they said; your profile, photos and messages are gone.
- Records that the law requires us to keep, if any apply, for as long as it requires.
- Aggregate numbers (how many people used a feature) that identify nobody.
